Cakes, Pops, and Cookies Feature: Superheroes for days..

So, I'm kind of a Superhero fan.. nerd.. enthusiast! Oh, what the heck! I LOVE it! My favorites are Batman (of course!!) and Wolverine (eek!). So, you can imagine how SUPER (hehehe) excited I was about this order! I was able to create superhero cookies, pops, and a cake! I may have gone a little overboard with the details... I couldn't help it! I guess you can't expect anything less from a fanatic. What do you guys think?

This was a great idea and I was happy to hear that the birthday boy enjoyed all of his treats! I bet those cookies, pops, and cake were hard to eat since they're so darn cute!

Pop Feature: Hello Kitty and Friends Cake Pops

Hi Everyone! I have something a little different for you guys today. Cake pops! Hello Kitty and Friends cake pops, to be exact. How cute are these! I bet they looked awesome on the treats table. They would even make great party favors! These were super fun to make. I was extra careful because I wanted to make sure that they resembled the actual characters.

Cake Feature: Spider-Man Comic Book Cake

Hi Everyone! Who's everybody's favorite webslinger? It's your friendly neighborhood SPIDER-MAN! I love how this cake turned out. This was for a boy's first communion. I wanted to make it so that it was a 3-D Spider-Man coming out of the comic book. Pretty cool!

Really enjoyed making this cake. This is the first time I've had to create something like this. I was inspired by the 100th anniversary issue of The Amazing Spider-Man comic. I hope that he enjoyed his cake!

Cake Feature: Monster High Cake

Hi Everyone! Today we have an awesome cake to show you. I LOVE how this cake turned out!! The theme was Monster High. We took elements from the different cartoon characters and dolls. We also used the logo as the cake topper. I love how there are so many different colors and patterns, but they still look good together. The different patterns give off a sort of punk/rock and roll vibe.

Ta-da! I loved creating all of the different patterns and elements for this cake. It was so much fun! Thanks for the great theme! I hope the birthday girl enjoyed her cake!

Cake Feature: Tiffany Cakes

Hi Everyone! This was the cutest idea ever. These cakes were created for a baby shower. OMG! The mommy decorated the hall beautifully! Her theme was Breakfast at Tiffany's so these matched perfectly. The bigger cake was for her and the little cakes were used as party favors. They were absolutely ADORABLE! The mommy dressed up like Holly Golightly and she looked oh so beautiful! I hope you guys like this set.

 

I really enjoyed putting everything together for the baby shower. I hope everyone enjoyed their party favors. I also got a glimpse of how they were displayed at the baby shower and it was beautiful. Thanks for the idea!

Peach Praline Pancakes

Hi Everyone!! Today I come to you with some super yummy PANCAKES!! Aside from making cakes, I also LOVE to make super delicious pancakes for the house. I secretly would love to have a pancake shop.. hehehe. That would be awesome! SamzPANcakez?? Hahaha.. Any-who, here's how they turned out.

These Peach Praline pancakes were absolutely scrumptious. They weren't overly sweet either, even after adding the syrup. I just added a little bit of syrup because the praline already had some, but you can add as much as you'd like! Mother and I definitely enjoyed these! Here's a link to the recipe we used. You can change it up to your liking. We modified it a little just because we were missing one of the ingredients. It still turned out great! Hope you make some yummy pancakes!

Cake Feature: Katy Perry Cake

Hi everyone! Today, I bring you an absolutely delicious looking (and tasting ^_^) cake. Our theme for this cake was the BEAUTIFUL Katy Perry! Our inspiration when putting together this cake was Katy Perry's Teenage Dream album. This was perfect because this album was soo colorful and fun! I incorporated a lot of her music video and album artwork into it. How fun are those gingerbread men! Hope you enjoy.

Cake Feature: Mexican Luau Bridal Shower

Hi Everyone!! I hope you enjoy today's post! I think that this cake turned out SUPER CUTE!! I absolutely love the colors, the flowers, and the ADORABLE little piggie on top!! This cake was for a bridal shower and we wanted to incorporate both the bride and the groom's heritage. So, the bridesmaids came up with a Mexican-Luau themed cake! I think we totally nailed it!! What do you think??

Didn't I tell you that it was absolutely beautiful!! And how CUTE was the little piggie! Awww... I hope the bridesmaids were happy with my design and I hope the bride and groom LOVED their cake!! Thanks again ladies for the great idea for this cake! And, I hope you guys enjoyed the pictures!
